The latest version of wordpress, wordpress 2.8.3 is released today. As this is a security release, upgrading is highly recommended. Please upgrade as soon as possible!

Actually they missed some holes in the earlier version, wordpress 2.8.1 and some developers in wordpress found that security holes. This time they have fixed the issue and so this is a security release.
